The Rothley Court Hotel Leicestershire Rothley Leicestershire Rothley Court itself is a rambling manor, with beautiful gardens, steeped in history and concepts of freedom. The Knights Templar used Rothley Court and the 13th century chapel in the building can still be visited. Lord Macaulay was born at the Court. He, together with Lord Wilberforce, became the great 19th century reformers working towards the abolition of slavery. |
